Although your comment most surely were wellmeaning
it wasn`t very well-thought out.
I reacted with a little bit of anger and dismay. In what way
would a baby make me less sad about Tweety? I don´t
have my birds as a substitute for a baby so why would I
get a baby as a substitute for one of my birds? Even if
I had a baby or a new bird I would still be as sad as I am now.
If your grandmother should die, would you replace her with
a new grandmother or baby? You can never replace a loved
one who has left this life. But thank you anyway for your
well wishing.

Hmm ja jag vet att jag såg den kommentaren och vet att jag redan då tänkte att det var väl en ganska så onödig (och korkad) kommentar... Hon menade säkert väl men ja, lite onödigt som sagt.

Det var verkligen en onödig kommentar. Och visst menade personen säkert väl. Men som du skriver så kan man ju inte ersätta någon.. visst kan man skaffa en ny fågel, som får vara lekkompis till Pookie och er, men det kommer ju aldrig någonsin göra sin saknad efter Tweety mindre.
Och det där med att skaffa en bebis istället.. suck
